Elizabeth Myer

I'm Mario, the character the game is named after. I'm competing against seven other racers to try to win the Mushroom Cup, the Flower Cup, the Star Cup, and the Special Cup. Yes, I want all four of them. To do this, I have to drive as fast as I can around all of my opponents, stay completely on the track at all times, and I can not run into things like walls, other racers, or banana peels. 

I started off in last place, but I went around a few of the racers to put myself in fifth place. Fortunately, a line of rainbow boxes was just ahead! I drove into one of them and I got 3  red koopa shells. I fired one of them at Luigi to get into fourth place, one at Donkey Kong to get in third place, and one at Bowser to get in second place. Maybe I will win this race! The first lap is over. Second place isn't too bad.
Peach was the only racer ahead of me. I did not expect her to place banana peels all over the path, so I spun out twice and fell back into fourth place, but there was still plenty of time! Another line of rainbox boxes was just ahead. I made sure I hit one. I got a Lightning Bolt! All the other carts shrunk and slowed down as I zoomed ahead to first place.  The second lap ended. There was just one more left.

Silly little me, I accidentally drove into a wall. Wonderful. I fell into third. I'd still place, but I'd like to get more points towards winning the cup..

Just my luck: Peach fired a green koopa shell at me. I fell behind to sixth place as almost everyone zoomed past me. However, I got her back. I got everyone back. Guess what weapon I got from this lap's box? I got a bullet bill. My kart turned into a zooming bullet as I quickly outraced everyone, and I got to the finish line with just enough time to beat out Luigi. 
I won first place. My dreams of getting the Mushroom Cup are slowely becoming reality.
